Here’s a highly valuable art shipment we sent up north recently. If you look closely, you can see this nautical theme has a Michigan map in the background. The artist painted this work directly onto Rand McNally topography, native to the area in which these watercraft activities are commonplace. It’s quite an amazing concept!

A local artist came by a couple weeks ago to send this original work to a family member. This is an abstract rendition of a specific insect, which was appropriate for the recipient’s profession. We secured this piece in glassine to assure the paint was protected, and that was covered with bubble wrap and placed into a picture shipping box. Fed Ex Ground finished things off without complication.

Pak Mail Cascade assisted with making certain a new client (Boost Mobile) received these building signs in Indianapolis. We presented the option of custom crating them, or utilizing honeycomb separators and high density foam on a strapped pallet. The latter was selected, and it proved to be more than enough to assure safe transit. Pak Mail is proud of it’s ability to ship those large and awkward items others can’t or won’t.

We can orchestrate an entire move into a retirement home. It can be challenging to plan Mom or Dad transitioning from a residential home to a smaller retirement facility room. For instance, how do you decide what to take versus leave behind? What do you honestly consider the essentials versus the expendables? If certain items don’t make the move, how do you manage anything left behind? These are just a few of the most common questions we receive, and we can help answer these and more for you. Every move is unique so your circumstances may be completely different, which is why we take the time to listen to your specific needs and customize options that will work for you. Whether your desires consist of proper placement, disposal, or donation of your loved ones’ valuables, we can seamlessly make it happen. Leave the small details to us and take confidence knowing the process will be handled professionally and efficiently. Our breadth of experience and long-term partnerships with local organizers/designers should afford you the opportunity to focus on other matters instead of emotions often associated with this move.
We look forward to the opportunity to serve you and your loved ones, so please contact us and let’s begin planning your move today!

Pak Mail Cascade recently shipped these luxury lamps which were an online purchase from a furniture store in East Hills, MI. We had the pleasure of helping them make it safely to their new owner in the Northern Plains. To make the trip, each lamp was double boxed, which consisted of bubble wrap, packing peanuts, glassine paper to protect the leather finish, and cardboard edge protectors to reinforce the structural integrity.

A local resident recently contacted us to ship some art down south. Our “picture pack” process was used once before with this customer, and they were very impressed with the way it protected their valuables. This consists of custom boxes, bubble wrap, shrink wrap, tape, and corrugated liner. Their second shipment arrived without any complication, too.

A customer took this huge computer server into the local UPS store and they were told it was too big, heavy and bulky for them to ship. So they came into Pak Mail Cascade and wondered if we did that kind of shipping. Why, yes we do! So we custom packed it, then double boxed with special honeycomb, wrapped it in bubble wrap and then covered it with peanuts to protect it and then shipped it out. Oh, ironically we shipped it with UPS! The final package weight was 149lbs. No problem for Pak Mail! We can ship computers and electronics of all shapes, sizes and weight.

A local Ada/Cascade resident stopped into our store last week to ship some personal items that belonged to her late sister, whom unfortunately passed unexpectedly. There were several large boxes of fragile/delicate items, and of course plenty of emotions. Most of these collectibles were packaged with care individually and then carefully placed into a freight box, where one of our LTL partners transported them down south to their new home(s).

A young man was referred to us through a friend, since they knew we offer packaging of delicate items. The best method to protect this prize catch was a calculated mixture of double corrugated cardboard, zip strips, wire, and packing peanuts. The customer ended up not sending it common carrier, and instead opted to have it in the car with him during the move.
