Pak Mail Cascade was contacted recently by a local Ada, MI resident looking to have her tandem bike shipped south, where a family vacation was planned. They explained the bike’s been in the family a long time and knew we could be trusted to handle things with necessary care. To make good on this promise, we packed it by using rolled corrugated cardboard to protect from the elements, bubble wrap and foam to cover the most delicate parts, commercial grade shrink wrap, and nylon strapping — all fastened to a 108x40x4 pallet.
These customers will soon look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two!

Pak Mail Cascade custom crated a $25,000 ASH FUSION FURNACE and all of the associated accessories.
A local Grand Rapids laboratory was selling it to a company in Canada. So we picked it up, packed, crated, and shipped it.
Since it was an international shipment, the crate has to be built with treated wood.
We packaged it safely inside the crate and it is on it’s way to Canada.
The machine weighs 200 lbs so the total shipment with crate, machine, accessories and packaging was 500+ lbs.

Today we are shipping yet another Grandfather clock. This one is going to Hawaii to a family member who wanted it after dad died. We built a special crate for it and have a special grandfather clock expert who we contract to prep the clocks before they ship so that all the pieces and parts are removed or secured properly. Then we pick it up and prep it for shipping. We will strap this crate to a pallet and off to Hawaii it will go!
The blue on the glass is the special glass protection that helps minimize vibration and a little extra strength for the glass while in transit.
