Pak Mail Cascade recently had an out of town customer contact us about some furniture they were looking to purchase from a local consignment shop in Grand Rapids. The sheer weight/volume/size of this set would not allow it to be shipped common carrier, so we completed the job with specialty freight. Following careful packaging that included double corrugated cardboard, strapping tape, honeycomb, commercial shrink wrap, nylon pallet strapping, and wooden bracing, the only thing that remained was the trip itself. We’ve received word the furniture arrived without complication and the family is enjoying their new investment! Pak Mail can ship furniture, appliances, and other large and awkward items that other shipping stores can’t.

“I had the honor of having an iPhone image of mine shown at ArtPrize 9 this last September and October (2017). I live in Minneapolis, MN and needed to have my finished piece installed at the venue where it would hang during ArtPrize and de-installed after ArtPrize was done. A customer took this huge computer server into the local UPS store and they were told it was too big, heavy and bulky for them to ship. So they came into Pak Mail Cascade and wondered if we did that kind of shipping. Why, yes we do! So we custom packed it, then double boxed with special honeycomb, wrapped it in bubble wrap and then covered it with peanuts to protect it and then shipped it out. Oh, ironically we shipped it with UPS! The final package weight was 149lbs. No problem for Pak Mail! We can ship computers and electronics of all shapes, sizes and weight.
